Kim Gabbey

Kim owner and managing director of Empower Support Solutions is a social entrepreneur. The theme of empowerment weaves through the story of her life. She is now making it possible for others, both businesses and individuals to reach new heights and experience a positive future.

Kim is a graduate of the University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Accounting and a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. With a passion to empower others in the least developed cities of the world, Kim moved to Patna, the capital city of Bihar in Northern India. Kim spent the first year and a half studying the Indian language and culture, as well as the best ways to engage the community for economic development and long-term holistic impact.

In 2018, she began freelancing bookkeeping services for US small businesses to gain experience in virtual bookkeeping and experiment with the viability of the business model.
